LIVE WORKSHOPS + CONNECTION CIRCLES

The Parenting Pal Founding Season

The Parenting Pal Founding Season brings together three connected chapters of live workshops and Parenting Pal Connection Circles designed to help caregivers bring relationship-centered parenting into real everyday family life.

Each chapter begins with a practical workshop and continues with two smaller Connection Circles where we can slow down, explore the ideas more deeply, and talk about what they can actually look like at home.

You can join us for one experience, complete an entire chapter, combine two chapters, or move through the full Founding Season.

Support before judgment, one small shift at a time.

Three Chapters. Nine Live Experiences. One Connected Journey.

Each Founding Season chapter includes:

    • A focused 90-minute learning experience with practical ideas and tools you can begin using at home.

2 Parenting Pal Connection Circles

    • Smaller 60-minute conversations designed to help caregivers reflect, ask questions, share experiences, and turn ideas into realistic next steps.

    WORKSHOP

Parenting Through Connection: The Five Shifts

Parenting can feel very different when we stop looking for the perfect response and start building from a clear foundation.

In this workshop, we will explore five practical parenting shifts that can help caregivers strengthen connection while still providing the structure, guidance, and expectations children need.

This workshop lays the foundation for the Founding Season and introduces the relationship-centered approach that runs throughout The Parenting Pal.

    Live Workshop • 90 Minutes

    Connection Circle One

    Connection Before Correction

Connection is not only something we use when things are going wrong. It is built in the everyday moments when children feel heard, noticed, included, and safe enough to communicate with us.

Together, we'll explore communication style, emotional safety, curiosity, listening before reacting, and ways to reconnect before redirecting when a hard moment does happen.

    Connection Circle Two

See the Child in Front of You

Children do not all need the same thing from us—and even the same child may need something different from one moment to the next.

This Circle explores how slowing down, noticing patterns, and becoming curious about what is underneath behavior can help us respond more intentionally to the child in front of us.

    WORKSHOP

    Connected Communication

The words we use matter—but connected communication is about more than finding the perfect phrase.

This workshop explores practical ways caregivers can communicate clearly, listen more intentionally, hold expectations, and help children understand what is needed without turning every challenge into a power struggle.

    Connection Circle Three

    Structure Without the Power Struggle

Children need both connection and structure.

This Circle focuses on holding clear, steady expectations while reducing unnecessary battles over routines, responsibilities, limits, and everyday family life.

    Supporting Without Taking Over

    WORKSHOP

    When Big Feelings Take Over

Big feelings can quickly become hard moments for the entire family.

This workshop explores what may be happening underneath emotional reactions and how caregivers can respond with connection, safety, and structure without feeling responsible for making every difficult feeling disappear.

    Connection Circle Five

What Does My Child Actually Need?

Behavior tells us something—but figuring out what it is telling us is not always easy.

This Circle gives caregivers space to slow down and consider what may be underneath a child's behavior, what the child may need in that moment, and what support can realistically look like.

    Connection Circle Six

    Bringing Connection Home

The goal is not to leave the Founding Season with dozens of new things you feel pressured to do.

This final Circle is about identifying what matters most for your family, choosing realistic next steps, and bringing the ideas from the Founding Season into everyday life in a way that feels sustainable.

    What You Can Expect

    Practical, not perfect.
The goal is not to give you another parenting standard to live up to. It is to help you find realistic strategies that fit your family.

    Connection and structure together.
Children can feel understood while adults still hold clear, steady expectations.

    Conversation without judgment.
Connection Circles are designed to create space for reflection, questions, and shared learning—not comparison.

One small step at a time.
You do not have to change everything at once. A small shift can make a meaningful difference.

    FAQs

Do I have to attend the entire Founding Season?

No. You can participate in an individual workshop or Connection Circle, complete one chapter, choose two chapters, or participate in the complete Founding Season.

Do I need to attend the workshop before the Connection Circles?

The workshop provides helpful context for the Circles within that chapter, so completing the full chapter provides the most connected experience. However, individual registration will also be available.

What are Parenting Pal Connection Circles?

Connection Circles are smaller live gatherings where caregivers can explore a focused parenting topic, reflect on their own family experiences, ask questions, and identify practical next steps.

Are the sessions therapy or clinical services?

No. The Parenting Pal provides parent education, mentoring, and practical relationship-centered support. Workshops and Connection Circles are not therapy, diagnosis, treatment, legal services, or special education advocacy.
